Enhanced Horizons
Enhanced Horizons Center for Advancement
Our mission is to educate and prepare young adults from foster care and the general community to develop skills and knowledge for successful transition to independent adult living.
An extension of the Hill Country Youth Ranch, Enhanced Horizons is a transitional living program that helps homeless teens and young adults (ages 18-24) move toward self sufficiency and successful adult living (this includes single mothers with children). By providing affordable housing, transportation assistance, and other support services, each young adult is given an opportunity to develop and work on individualized independent living goals in a positive, safe and supportive living environment.
The Cailloux Center for Adult Learning
The program is affiliated with the Big Springs Charter Schools (Brune/Cailloux/Najim) which offers students the opportunity to complete their high school education and receive a diploma from our on-site TEA-accredited school. In addition, Enhanced Horizons strives to provide community mentors and lessons in financial management, career development, positive habits, and healthy relationships.
