Program Administrator

Administer and coordinate the daily operation of the child care program. Facilitate communication, problem solving, and team development. Work with the Leadership Team to monitor, assess, and improve the child care program.

Master’s degree. Must be a Licensed Child Care Administrator (LCCA). Three years experience in a direct care and/or clinical setting, including two years in a supervisory capacity.

Oversees the training and professional development of direct care staff in the Basic Care and Residential Treatment Programs of HCYR.

Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s preferred. LCCA (Licensed Childcare Administrator) preferred. Two years of supervisory experience in a therapeutic residential setting. TBRI Practitioner preferred.

Recruiter & Volunteer Management Specialist

The ideal candidate has a background in recruiting, a strong customer service orientation, a positive attitude and the drive to succeed.

This position's primary focus is to create, maintain, and analyze an applicant source database of passive and active applicants for the recruiting process along with sourcing volunteers and interns; Works with program staff and other department managers to define departmental staff needs, intern opportunities, and volunteer needs; Assists in recruitment planning and execution, selection decisions, coordinating volunteer and intern training, and other duties.

Office Manager & Payroll Administrator

The Office Manager/Payroll administrator will be required to collaborate with HCYR finance department as well as other directors and managers across the organization.

Maintain office operations by organizing, assigning, and monitoring clerical duties along with scheduling receptionist work hours to provide continual staff coverage for office daily needs

Perform semi-monthly payroll entry and processing; complete the timely and accurate processing of payroll, earnings, and deductions; ensures all federal, state and local taxes, Social Security contributions, contributions to employee benefit programs, and other deductions are withheld from employees’ paychecks; ensure the accurate deduction and remittance of garnishments, child support, etc.

Case Management Transporter

Case Manager/Transporter is responsible for transportation of residents from our facility to a wide range of scheduled appointments in order to meet children’s needs.

Some of the duties of this role include: facilitating appointments, safe transport of children to such appointments, supervision of children, processing appointment paperwork, obtaining, distributing, and completing all required appointment documentation, communicating outcomes of appointments, etc. The individual must be able to effectively communicate with direct care staff, supervisors, caseworkers, clinicians, physicians and other professionals to coordinate and complete such services.

Ground Maintenance & Landscaping

Ability to perform a variety of maintenance tasks such as making minor repairs, replacing broken items, performing preventative maintenance, custodial duties, moving furniture, and grounds keeping tasks such as weed-eating, etc. Ability to lift up to fifty pounds, multiple times per day. Must be able to work outside in all types of weather.

The following positions are always open for application:

Live in Residential Childcare Worker

Positions available for singles and couples. Pre-service training, room and board provided. Live-in as primary houseparents for group of children in family-style home, or provide respite to primary houseparents during their scheduled days off.

Twenty-one years or older. High school diploma or GED. Current Texas driver’s license. Background check will be conducted prior to hiring. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Night or Day Shift Workers

Work on night shift in children’s houses to ensure safety of children throughout the night, or serve as a daytime shift worker in one of HCYR’s Intensive Supervision Units.
